Maggie and the Cakes

On September 11th Maggie was one of the judges for the cake competition at the Ludlow Food and Drink Festival. There were 18 gorgeous cakes to taste and Peter helped her with her choice: she could not judge the appearance and he could not judge the taste as he is coeliac, so together they made a good pair.

Unfortunately, or perhaps fortunately as some of the cakes were very rich, they only had small portions to sample! The winner was the Ludlow Food Centre with a fruit cake.
